After a much too long break, forced by the Corona Crisis, the famous Red Bull District Ride finally took place again in september 2022! Having been to all the events since 2005, I couldn’t wait to experience the craziness in Nuremberg’s streets again. Around 100.000 spectators make for a very nice backdrop for crowded event photos, but at the same time it’s an absolute pain in the ass to shoot the event if you try to get from spot A to spot B quickly 😉 in 2017 I had visited the event as a spectator with two small kids (which was an absolutely insane mission on its own), now I was looking forward to shooting it again. The results were pretty nice, as always the huge crowd provided a crazy backdrop for the final jump and I was happy to see Freeride Mag run a couple of the highlight shots in an article about the event!
