2017 Catalogue stories for CUBE Bikes pt.1

Last summer I had the honor of shooting a series of photo stories for German bike company CUBE. CUBE are well-known for producing high quality catalogues and work books for their bike products and I was super happy to have the opportunity to be a part of the 2017 production team.

The Iceland story arch was a guided weekend trip for Frank, one of CUBE’s product managers. The aim for the trip was as simple as it was promising – scouting Iceland’s beautiful locations and riding some of the magnificent trails, guided by Jón and Jóhann, our Icelandic friends. Thanks to those two guys again for the great times. Iceland more than lived up to its hype, it’s really one of the most beautiful places…

The Trekking story featured Wolfgang, a policeman and biking and triathlon enthusiast. The story was about one of his weekend escapes after a long week of work. He set out on his trekking bike and had only a rough idea of where the roads were going to lead him. After two days on the roads in the Franconian Switzerland and a night spent in a cave he hopped on a train and returned home.
